Mr. Ronald Coleman

Mr. Coleman attended Bishop State Community College and Alabama State University on athletic scholarships in baseball.  Mr. Coleman earned an Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education with concentrations in Physical Education and Traffic Safety from Alabama State University.

 Mr. Coleman began his pursuit of a Master's Degree from Alabama State University in Secondary Administration while serving as a law enforcement officer with the City of Mobile Police Department.  After teaching and coaching at Griggs Elementary and Grand Bay High School, Mr. Coleman served in the capacity of Resource Officer for eleven years with the district.  Mr. Coleman continued the pursuit and completed the studies and earned his Master's Degree.

Mr. Coleman served as an Assistant Principal/Resource Officer at Vigor High for two years and the Principal at Blount High for three years.  Mr. Coleman had the distinct pleasure of opening and being the first principal at the New Blount High School which is located on Lott Road in Eight Mile, Al.
